Feb. 1937 Nobuta Nagatomi founds Limited Partnership Toku Pneumatic Tool Mfg. Co.
Dec. 1937 Toku Pneumatic Tool Mfg. Co., Ltd. is established and succeeds to the business. Capital: 200,000 yen
Apr. 1941 Acquired 12,000 square meters of land in Tsukiguma, Fukuoka City, and built Tsukiguma Plant.
Mar. 1947 Opened sales office in Mangyoji-mae, Fukuoka City (currently Reisen, Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan)
Apr. 1952 Developed the first 3-ton air hoist
Feb. 1955 Spun off the sales division and established Toei Shoji Co. (currently Toku Pneumatic Co., Ltd.)
Apr. 1963 Saga Plant (present Nakabaru Plant) was started operation, at the same time impact wrenches were developed.
Jun. 1969 Head office moved from Fukuoka to Saga
Apr. 1971 Awarded by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry as a company contributing to exports
Oct. 1973 Kishima Plant operation started
Apr. 1975 Plating division was spun off as a separate company and renamed Masanobu Co., Ltd.
Aug. 1975 Capital increased to 210 million yen
May. 1976 Computer Center established in Yamada, Onojo, Fukuoka, Japan.
Oct. 1981 Capital increased to 250 million yen.
Apr. 1982 Full-scale production of hydraulic breakers begins.
Apr. 1983 Fukuoka Plant begins operations.
Oct. 1984 Minobaru Plant begins operations.
May. 1986 Company history "Founder Nobuta Nagatomi and Fifty Years of Toku Pneumatic Tool Mfg. Co., Ltd." published.
Sep. 1986 Completion of the Toku Reisen Building in Reisen, Hakata, Fukuoka, Fukuoka.
May. 1989 Head office technology building completed.
Oct. 1990 Hirokawa Plant operation started.
Mar. 1993 Capital increased to 322.5 million yen.
Mar. 1993 ISO 9001 certification obtained for Hirokawa Plant, subsequently extended to all plants.
Jun. 2002 ISO 14001 certification acquired. (company-wide)
Apr. 2005 Vacuum carburizing heat treatment plant completed and operation started at Hirokawa Plant
Mar. 2011 Kiyama Plant operation started
Nov. 2020 Fukuoka Plant and Hirokawa Plant closed due to consolidation of impact wrench operations at Kishiima Plant.
Apr. 2022 Former Hirokawa Plant reopens as a Incubation Plant with renewed operations.
Apr. 2022 Received commendation from the Tosu and Miyoki Hazardous Materials Safety Association and the Tosu and Miyoki Fire Fighting Association for its significant contribution to the establishment of the safety system.
Jun. 2022 ISO 9001 certification obtained at each plant has been integrated company-wide.
